It’s hard to believe that I’ve been writing to you, yes YOU, for 12 years. Actually, I’m writing to myself as well, for as we know in Quantum Physics, or at least by listening to old Beatles songs, “I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together.” (I Am the Walrus, Paul McCartney, John Lennon), we are all connected in the “web” of life.
This is how it started…my web mistress, Lisa Grey, suggested I start a weblog, which I immediately shied away from, being that most weblogs at that time were more like online journals or personal diaries, something this introvert had no interest in sharing. But she was persistent, and I started imaging a place where I could share my knowledge and interests with curious minds and resonating souls, like you.
What I have discovered through this process is that I like to write short articles of interest to me, with helpful links to sources, so we can all expand our knowledge and try new ideas. Ideas in this weblog fed my book, An Introduction to Transformative Tarot Counseling, and supports my Global Spiritual Studies students from around the world, each with unique interests.
Creating video classes with PowerPoint visual displays is more preferable to writing long books where I struggle to pen the written expressions to reveal my deepest knowings. These short dips into my pool of consciousness are just deep enough to keep me flowing…and hopefully keep us connected in that flow.
Without this weblog, you may not know the diversity of influences that reside in my metaphysical/psychological/spiritual world.
