Nothing like posting on the 29th of February to remind one of how precious time is. Some of my favorite times are spending a long weekend with my Tarot community…as in my 2016 Tarot Tour!
This year the fun starts in early March and weaves its way, coast to coast, to late April. Here are the high points on this year’s schedule:
3/23/16 — New Renaissance Bookshop, Portland, OR – panel on “Tarot and Intuition“ with Mary Greer, Gina Thies, and Katrina Wynne.
3/4-6/16 — Northwest Tarot Symposium, Clackamas, OR (near Portland) – three days of Tarot workshops, presentations, panels, and games.
— The Oracle Soup podcast sistas, Gina Thies and Katrina Wynne, kick off the event with a “Meet & Greet” where participants interact and play Tarot games together.
— Saturday afternoon, Katrina introduces her experiential style of related to the card’s message utilizing Jungian and Process Work skills in her “Tarot and Dreamwork” presentation.
— There is also a “Psychic Fair” open to the public on Saturday and Sunday with vendors, readers, and an amazing Tarot art sale.
3/8-11/16 — New Renaissance Bookshop, Portland, OR – private sessions available by appointment.
— Thursday night, Katrina’s most popular class “Sacred Journey of Your Soul — through the Major Arcana of the Tarot” takes you on psych-spiritual journey exploring each major trump and its developmental as well as existential gift and challenge.
3/22-25/16 — Popular Culture Association / American Culture Association, Seattle, WA – is highly regarded in academe with well over 5,000 academic oral presentations given internationally. Emily Auger developed and hosts a unique panel on “Tarot and Other Methods of Divination“, this year offering panel topics such as “Contemporary Practices: Body, Mind, Spirit”, “Religion, Philosophy, and Symbolism”, and “The Divination Review Round Table” ending with a showing and discussion of Enrique Enriquez’ work in the Tarot film Tarology.
— Tuesday morning Katrina presents her paper on Palliative Care Applications for the Use of Petite Lenormand Cards with Hospice, Coma, and Deep Trance-state Patients.
3/25-26/16 — East West Bookshop, Seattle, WA – private sessions available by appointment.
— Friday night, “Pathworking with Tarot Numerology, part 1” …… develop a personal profile for your client
— Saturday night, “Pathworking with Tarot Numerology, part 2” …… forecast the path ahead Each class stands alone, best combined as a comprehensive
4/28-5/1/16 — Readers Studio, Queens, New York – the largest Tarot Conference in the world with presentations, study groups, and lots of fun activities for Tarot and oracle enthusiasts.
— Thursday is the “Tarot and Psychology Conference” pre-RS16 event with three unique presentations offered.
— Thursday night Katrina offers a comprehensive exploration of “The Significance of Significators: Empowering Your Readings” covering many Tarot and oracle styles of working with “Significators” in reading for oneself and others.
